Plum Ali Chasing Fifth Career Stakes in All Along

Plum Ali is one of six horses competing in Saturday's $100,000 All Along at Pimlico Race Course. The 51st running of the race is for fillies and mares 3 and up going 1 1/8 miles on the grass. There are four stakes worth $875,00 in purses on a 10-race program.

Plum Ali is chasing a fifth career stakes victory in Saturday's All Along at Pimlico Race Course. The $100,000 race is one of four on the program worth $875,00. Plum Ali has won five of 15 starts and $767,042 in purses. She is trained by Christophe Clement. Post time is 12:40 p.m. at the historic PIMlicO Racecourse. There is also a $200,K Baltimore-Washington International Turf Cup and a pair of dirt sprints. A $75, K Shine Again for non-winners of an open sweepstakes drew nine fillies and mares 3 and older.

Lake Lucerne will break from the rail with Sheldon Russell aboard. Champagne Toast, Jaroslaw Kowalczyk’s Youens and Plum Ali are also in the field. The All Along is named for the French-bred filly that won the Prix de l”Arc de Triomphe, Rothmans International, Turf Classic and Laurel “Washington D.C. International in 1983. PlumAli was inducted into the National Museum of Racing‘s Hall of Fame in 1990.
