Premier League Betting Specials 2023/24: Big-priced betting specials for the new season

Here at BettingOdds we’ve been busy prepping for the new Premier League season, bringing you the latest odds on a whole host of different betting markets, from the Golden Boot to who could be the Top London Club.

Now it’s time for a range of eye-popping Premier League special bets from a variety of betting sites as we check out the latest prices on Man City to go unbeaten, whether there could be a goal in every single game, and if that man Erling Haaland can bag a double hat-trick.

Man City may have smashed a number of records under Pep Guardiola, but not even the Spaniard has managed to conjure up an unbeaten Premier League campaign.

Arsenal remain the only club in history to achieve this remarkable feat in the Premier League, under Arsene Wenger in 2003/04, when The Invincibles regained the title without losing a single game. It remains the last time The Gunners won the title.

Even for a team like City, who are fresh off a treble triumph, going a whole league season unbeaten would take some doing with BoyleSports pricing this up at 16/1. For reference, their best effort under Pep is two defeats back during his first title campaign of 2017/18.

As for Arsenal, they are priced at 100/1 to go unbeaten.

Erling Haaland to score 8 or more hat-tricks: 66/1

Bookmakers are so nervous that the record-breaking Erling Haaland will cause carnage once again next season, that they are offering some pretty slim prices when it comes to the Norwegian goal machine.

He’s priced at just 66/1 (Paddy Power) to double his league hat-trick tally from last term by bagging a staggering eight hat-tricks this time around. While we can never say never when it comes to Haaland, this would be absolutely ludicrous, even for him.

At the time of writing, Alan Shearer holds the record with five hat-tricks back in the 1995/96 season.

Erling Haaland to score 6+ goals in a game: 25/1

Speaking of out of this world feats, bet365 have priced Haaland up at 25/1 to score a double-hat-trick in a league game.

He came close to this in the Champions League last season when he fired five past poor RB Leipzig, while his best Premier League tally was three; although he did do this on four separate occasions.

No player has ever scored six goals in a Premier League game, but five players - Andy Cole, Alan Shearer, Jermain Defoe, Dimitar Berbatov, and Sergio Aguero - have each scored five goals in a single match.

If you’re after a massive price to track all season then you can find 500/1 (Paddy Power) for there to be one or more goals in each Premier League match.

Considering there are a whopping 380 matches in a Premier League season, you can see why this offering is so huge.

1 or more cards in each Premier League match: 66/1

Alternatively, if cards are more your area of expertise, Paddy Power offer 66/1 on at least one card to be dished out in every game.

We could well see more cards than ever next term with referees set to clampdown on time wasting, dissent, and players surrounding the officials, while added-on time at the end of matches is expected to frequently go into the double-figure bracket.

All 20 clubs to receive at least 1 red card: 7/1

On the topic of cards, last season only 30 red cards were branded in the Premier League, which is the fewest since way back in 1993/94; and 13 fewer than the 2021/22 season.

Well, could referees make up for this meagre tally by whipping out the red on a more frequent basis in 2023/24?

We've already mentioned above how new rule changes could result in a higher card count, with Paddy Power providing odds of 7/1 for each of the 20 clubs to receive at least one red next term.

If you think refs will really go berserk you can find odds of 18/1 (Paddy Power) for 60 or more reds.

Each of the three promoted sides - Fulham, Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest - all survived the dreaded drop last season.

This season’s batch of newbies are Burnley, Sheffield United, and Luton with the trio priced at 18/1 (bet365) to all avoid relegation.

Alternatively, you can find 14/1 (BoyleSports) on all three clubs to make a swift return to the Championship, which last occurred in 1997/98.

Everton to be bottom on Christmas Day: 16/1

Christmas Day may seem an eternity away right now but bookmaker Betway has already looked ahead to Santa’s big day.

It’s obviously pure speculation as to which club will be nestled to the bottom of the sack come the 25th December, yet one club that has struggled in recent years is Everton.

After back-to-back 16th and 17th place finishes, could this be the year they finally lose their Premier League status?

The Toffees are 3/1 to go down and 16/1 to be bottom of the table at Christmas.

Regular readers of BettingOdds will know how much we love the Shots On Target market. There are always some great prices to be had on players in match markets, despite the increased popularity of this type of bet.

Paddy Power’s largest multi-player Shots On Target season special requires Bukayo Saka to have 55+ SOT, Trent Alexander-Arnold to have 25+ SOT, and new Spurs man James Maddison to have 35+ SOT, which they've priced up at 300/1.

This would mean each of the players would have to step up their shots game a fair bit from last season’s tallies, which saw Saka have 32 SOT, Trent have eight, and Maddison 29.

Rasmus Hojlund to score 25 or more goals: 25/1

Man Utd have at last completed the signing of Rasmus Hojlund for £64m from Atalanta.

Long linked with Kane, United will hope that the 20-year-old Dane will take the Premier League by storm.

Bet365 have the young striker at 25/1 to really make an instant impact by scoring 25 or more league goals in his debut season, although it's worth noting that he just about hit double figures last term, while he's also expected to miss the start of the season due to a minor injury.
