Preview: No. 2 UConn men’s basketball vs. Georgetown

UConn men's basketball is No. 1 in KenPom and No 2 in the AP Poll. They play a game at home against Georgetown, who are 5-7 and have no wins against Kenpom's top 200 teams. Georgetown's best player, Dante Harris, transferred and recently committed to Virginia. The game is the easiest game on UConn's schedule.

Primo Spears and Brandon Murray are the top scorers for Georgetown. The reunion with Wahab has worked well for him. UConn's frontcourt is a tough matchup for the Hoyas. Uconn's size will be a problem for them. They limit turnovers and use their size to score. It will not be easy for U.S. men's basketball team to match their strength.

Georgetown's frontcourt of Wahab and Akok is no slouch, but the team struggles to rebound when it has the ball. Sanogo, Donovan Clingan and Andre Jackson should be able to capitalize on this weakness and extend possessions. Nahiem Alleyne is starting to find his form after a slow start to the season. He has made six of his nine 3-point attempts since December. He is a career 38.1 percent 3 point shooter.
