Racing Stars: Deez And Grant Star On Day 16

Popular on-course presenters Deez Dayanand and Grant Knowles were the stars of Day 16 of the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge Racing Stars competition after the final race was run at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday.

Deez, who is a familiar face and a charismatic personality on the KZN racing landscape, took full advantage of competing on his ‘home’ course when finishing top of the leaderboard and banking the R500 daily prize.

Cape kingpin Grant Knowles has been a consistent performer for the two weeks of the competition so far and deservedly walked away with the Week 2 prize – both for most winners and on points. So he banks the R500 and R2500 awards respectively, on a big day!

South Africa’s most popular racing competition pits the skills, wits and form assessment knowledge of players against each other over the designated racemeeting, with the leaderboard being updated after each race.

Players select one horse per race in the free-to-enter challenge and points are allocated for the finishing position, with an additional weighting for a winner based on the Hollywoodbets starting price.

Recently extended to include all local racemeetings, as well as Hong Kong and Singapore, the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge has created a host of big winners.
