Racing Victoria to launch Australia’s richest maiden series at Pakenham

Pakenham will host Australia's richest maiden series under lights on Thursday nights. The $1.2m 12-heat series will be from January 12 to February 23. There will also be a $300,000 final on March 2. Pakenam is the fairest track in Victoria. Two Wednesday twilight meetings set for Pookham on February 1 and 22 have been moved to Thursday night. Warrnambool and Sale meetings on Feb 2 and 23 will come forward to Wednesday. It's a great way to shine a light on the progress of the horses. Trainer Michael Huglin has a four-year-old mare Intisar ready to go.
