Rangers v TSG Hoffenheim: Live stream, TV channel, kick-off time & team news for Michael Beale's final pre-season clash

MICHAEL BEALE is making the final changes to his Rangers squad and he'll make his final tweaks to his team before next weekend's SPFL kick-off.

The Gers are back in Germany - scene of their remote pre-seasontraining camp - to round off their preparations with a match against Hoffenheim.

The PreZero Arena will play host to the clash with Pellegrino Matarazzo's side with many Bears keen on following the Light Blues for the summer trip.

Another is in store against either Servette or Genknext month but the serious stuff begins before then with Kilmarnock next Saturday evening in store.

So far it has been an up and down start to games for Beale's new-look team.

With eight new faces in already and a ninth waiting to join, Rangers' three public matches have seen plenty of goals but also two defeats.

Goals from Fashion Sakala and James Tavernier defeated Hamburg but Newcastle and Olympiacos both took the spoils in a 2-1 and 3-1 wins respectively.

The Gers will be aiming to finish on a high in Hoffenheim after their delight at landing Danilo this week.

Team news

Rangers will include Tom Lawrence, Ryan Jack and Kemar Roofe for the game after the trio missed the midweek defeat to Olympiacos.

Dujon Sterling was expected back in training on Friday while the match comes too quick for Connor Goldson - the defender is not due back with his team-mates until next week.

Likewise Leon King. The injury picked up the last time Rangers were in Germany was not as serious as first feared and the youth academy graduate will be back on Monday.

New signing Danilo has also joined up with his new squad in the hours after completing his move from Feyenoord and could be in with a shout of playing some part in the match.

Michael Beale's other long-term target Jose Cifuentes has yet to complete his move from LAFC but a transfer is believed to be close and could be completed before the SPFL start against Kilmarnock at Rugbypark.
