Ranking current Twins most impacted by Joey Gallo signing

The Minnesota Twins signed two-time All-Star and all-or-nothing slugger Joey Gallo on Friday.

Max Kepler will be traded. The Twins signed Gallo on Friday. Luis Arraez won the batting title and the Silver Slugger at the utility spot last season. He started 60 games at first base. The addition of Galla gives the Twins another option in left field and pushes Kirilloff to play more at 1st base, which improves the team's defense. It's also possible that Arrraz is traded as well. Aaron Gleeman mentions that the club is considering the option. in part because of the flexibility of a defender. it's possible the players will find themselves in a new role by the time the regular season kicks off on March 30th.

Joey Gallo has the highest strikeout rate of any major-league player last season. Luis Arraez had the lowest strikeouts rate.
