Raptors vs. Kings same-game parlay predictions Jan. 5: Bet on Sacramento to halt Toronto's momentum

The Toronto Raptors open their California road trip with a visit to the Sacramento Kings.

The pregame narrative: The Raptors are on a roll since making a trade for Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett but tonight they face their toughest test yet. Back the Kings to win on the moneyline and an alt over. Lastly, bet on Pascal Siakam to top his point total.

Raptors vs. Kings same-game parlay

Parlay: Kings moneyline + Over 234.5 points + Siakam over 23.5 points (+290)

Kings moneyline (-210): It has been fun watching the Raptors play basketball again since making a trade with the Knicks on Dec. 30.

Unfortunately, they have been given the assignment of heading out west and playing the Cali teams, starting with the Kings.

Sacramento has been great at home this year going 12-6 while Toronto has been not so good on the road, going 5-11 thus far.

Additionally, the Kings shoot 38.1% from 3-point range at home which is 2.9% higher than their 35.2% mark on the road. It will be hard for the Raptors to keep pace as they are bottom five in 3-pointers made per game (11.5) and percentage (35.0%).

It will be a tough task for Toronto to cover their spread tonight, let alone win.

Other parlay picks

Over 234.5 points (-159): The new-look Raptors are young and explosive which leads to more shots — and the loss of OG Annunoby has hurt their defence.

In the three games since the trade, Toronto has gone over their total twice with the game vs. the Memphis Grizzlies falling short of the over by half a point.

The Kings also tend to be a part of high-scoring games at home going over the total 12 of 18 times, according to Team Rankings.

Expect a track meet out West tonight.

Siakam over 23.5 points (-167): Since starting the season slowly, Siakam has been on a tear. And he's been even better since the trade. He's scored 24-plus in four straight games topping 35 points in two of them.

The Kings struggle to contain power forwards, allowing the position to score the sixth-most points per game (25.9) in the league.

There's simply no one on Sacramento who can guard Siakam in isolation which gives him a great chance to smash this point prop.
