Real Madrid continues its UEFA Champions League title defense Wednesday when the La Liga power welcomes Premier League hopeful Chelsea in Leg 1 of the quarterfinals at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

CBS will broadcast at 3 p.m., although fans without cable can still watch Champioins League games by signing up: fuboTV (free trial), Paramount+ (7 days free) or DirecTV Stream.

Chelsea, coming off a 1-0 defeat to EPL partner Wolverhampton, is the sharp underdog against a Real Madrid side that easily knocked down another EPL crew, Liverpool, in the last-16 by an aggregate 6-2. To boot, Real Madrid, already locked into the Copa del Rey final vs. Osasuna on May 6, have won its last five European matches at Bernabeu.

Chelsea, which wore the Champions League crown in 2020-21, pushed by Borussia Dortmund in the last-16. And despite recent struggles inside the EPL, the Blues scored a 3-2 leg-2 victory over Real Madrid in last year’s quarterfinals at Bernabeu.

The Blancos, 3-1 winners in leg-1, would advance.
