Record ticket sales for Gold Cup Day at Cheltenham Festival
General admission tickets for the Gold Cup day at Cheltenham Festival sold out before the end of January. The total demand for general admission to this year’s Cheltonham festival has increased by 37%. The 2021 festival happened behind closed doors due to pandemic measures.
Only hospitality packages for Gold Cup day (the festival’s last day on 18 March) are still available. Tickets for the first three days of the festival are on sale. They start from £625 per person.
This year's Grand National is experiencing record high demand. General admission ticket sales have seen a 7% increase from 1 August to December 2021. The Jockey Club have reported widespread growth in ticket sale across all 14 courses compared with 2019.
