Remington Springboard Mile Stakes Betting Preview

The $400,000 Springboard mile race is for two-year-olds going one mile on the dirt at Remington Park. It's Race 12 and goes to post at 11:19 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, May 1st.

Echo Again debuted at Saratoga and won by over six lengths. They didn't perform well in a Grade 3 last out and have been shelved ever since. Ricardo Santana Jr. is winning at 16% and Steve Asmussen is 18% on the year.

Campfire Creed has won a stakes race and came second in another. Gerardo Mora is winning at 14% at Remington while Danny Pish is training at 13%.

Giant Mischief won an optional claimer at Keeneland. Florent Geroux is winning at 14% for the meet. The last speed figure coming into the race almost hit triple digits.

Ghost Hero is a 15/1 morning line favorite for the Remington Springboard Mile Stakes. The last time Ghost Hero won a stakes race over this course, the speed figure was solid. Floyd Wethey is winning at 17% for this year and Jayde Gelner is also winning.

Wildatlanticstorm has won every race they've ever run in. They'll be running a route distance for the first time. Leandro Goncalves is winning at 18% for this meet and Ray Ashford is 13%.

Echo Again is the favorite for Remington Springboard Mile Stakes. Asmussen won the last race at 25%.
