NASCAR is going in a new direction and is reaching out to new groups. The success will continue as long as NASCAR continues to innovate and be responsive to their fans' feedback.

There are more empty seats in the stands at NASCAR races than there are seats available for advertising. Bristol hasn't sold out in years. It's bad for the sport because it hurts the ratings.

Mr. Phelps claims that NASCAR ticket sales are up 20%. This is since there were no fan races. Justbob wonders if the numbers are better than in the past. He wonders why there are few big name sponsors left in NASCAR.

Races on dirt and temporary street circuits do not make for good racing unless it is a dirt track series. Temporary street circuit races almost always have terrible racing.

The owners of F1 and IndyCar have a history of running temporary street circuits. NASCAR wants to follow suit adding more circus acts to the other events under the big top.

Joey has come a long way since he was a young driver. He has been pushed around a lot by other drivers. He is now a better driver than he used to be.

Regardless of whether you are a Logano Fan, his comments are genuine and true.

Joey Logano has been a class act all season long. He's someone both Team Penske and NASCAR should be proud of. He has had a few run-ins with other drivers, but he's matured into a champion NASCAR can be Proud of as well.

Ben Keating was a gentleman driver many years ago. ChicagoRacing1 is impressed with him.

Ben is a role model for people aged 50 and over. Ben wants to move to racing a Corvette.

Joey Gibbs won his second championship yesterday. Justbob missed the race yesterday and watched a replay of Joey's interview after winning the championship. Joey was very emotional when talking about the death of Coy Gibbs.

Joey and Penske are congratulated. Unfortunately, Gibbs family and organization are mourning.

Logano won the championship by staying steady and avoiding trouble. Logano is 32 and has a lot of years left.

Brad Keselowski helped Joey Logano to become a better driver.

JB thinks Joey Logano will be a good representative for NASCAR both during the off-season and throughout the 2023 season.

Ty's remorse for his dad's death after the race will be hard for Ty. Gibbs's racing family did well over this weekend.

Roxie44 sends thoughts and prayers to the Gibbs family that has lost both Coy and his brother J.D.

Christopher Bell won the Phoenix race for Joe Gibbs Racing. It was his last race with JGR. He had to compartmentalize the sadness and tragedy after learning of the passing of Coy Gibbs. He compartmentaled it well and went out and did his job. Bell showed a lot of people something that will help him return to the playoffs.

Lewis Hamilton has been a better driver than Sir Jackie Stewart. Pro athletes need to do their jobs and keep their personal views to themselves. vah5225 is a fan of Louise. vh5224 is not a supporter of Lewis Hamilton.

Hamster has had a superior car for the vast majority of his career. Russell is ahead of Hamster in the championship now.

Some people mock Hamilton because he has won many races and championships. Hamilton may only race one more year and then he may stay around another 4-5 years if he wins the championship in 2023.

tfe3095 is angry that Ferrari fans have their own name. He would have liked to have had a Ferrari but the era of Ferrari is over.

qua1300 is annoyed with the political connotations of NASCAR.

Mattia Binotto should be fired and Ferrari's team should start from scratch. Rebuilding Ferrari and its brand in F1 will take at least three years. Jerry Bonkowski is confident Ferrari will soon be back in contention and at the top of the speed charts.

"Indy Lights" was changed to "Indie NXT" for the upcoming season.

Roxie and Jerry Bonkowski think Indy Lights should be renamed to Indy NXT. JB hasn't heard anything directly, but he agrees that "Indy NXT" doesn't roll off the tongue like "indy Lights".

The burgers are okay. Overpar thinks they're not worth waiting in a long line for.

Whataburgers are OK, but In-N-Out is probably the best burger in America.

In-n-Out is going to be a great fit for NHRA and Pomona.

It's going to be double doubles first and Pomona and the quarter mile after that.

In-n-Out Double Double is Jerry Bonkowski's favorite burger. L.A. County Fairplex may be torn down or sold off. Jerry is a fan of NHRA. He questions if the track will still be around 11 years from now.

Mbe1532 would like to listen to something fast like Motorhead or Slayer.

Tony Stewart likes Lawrence Welk. Tony Stewart is going to make some noise in NHRA competition in the next year or so. He is rumoured to be working with his boss to buy NHR. He may sell his half of Stewart–Haas Racing and become a born-again drag racer. It would be one of the best things to happen to the world of drag racing.
