Rita Hayworth's marriage to Prince Aly Khan ended in 1951. She filed for divorce in 1953. Rita returned to Hollywood and made "Affair in Trinidad" in the tropical noir genre. In 1987 she was feted on the same beach where she had once frolicked with Aly and his friends. She died in 1987. Her last appearance was at the American Film Festival in Deauville. It was held every September after the racing crowd has left the seaside resort. The festival celebrates American cinema. Aly died seven months after his Arc with Saint Crespin in 1959.
