Rob Baxter is surprised by the timing of Eddie Jones' departure as England head coach. He has just signed a contract extension with Exeter. Steve Borthwick is a clear favourite to succeed him. Exterby have confirmed long-term deals for Baxter, Ali Hepher, Rob Hunter and Ricky Pellow. They are all hungry to achieve more. The club has also secured the futures of four of its core coaches.
