Rugby transfer rumours and news: Leicester Tigers linked with Worcester back, England stars' futures in the air

Worcester Warriors and Wasps are interested in signing players from the Gallagher Premiership. Leicester Tigers are also interested.

Leicester Tigers are interested in signing Worcester Warriors back Jamie Shillcock. Shilcock can play both full-back and fly-half.

Jack Nowell has been linked with a move to Leicester Tigers. Nowel has won two Premiership titles and the European Champions Cup with the Chiefs. He has 42 caps for England. Rob Baxter is hopeful that Nowll will sign a new contract at the club. The director of rugby is not making any decisions for Nowall. It is an ongoing situation. Baxter and Nowells have had contract discussions in the past. They are not going to make any decision in 24 hours.

Stade Francais are interested in signing Harlequins utility back Joe Marchant. Marchan's former coach Paul Gustard is currently in charge of the Parisian club. Ollie Lawrence signed a long-term deal at Bath Rugby this week.

Ben Earl has signed a new contract at Saracens. The flanker was the Gallagher Premiership Player of the Season. He has 13 England caps. He spent a successful year on loan at Bristol Bears in 2020/21. Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall is delighted with the extension.

Will Chudley has joined Coventry Rugby from Worcester Warriors. The scrum half was one of 50 players who lost their contracts when the Premiership side went into administration. Chadley played for Bath Rugby, Newcastle Falcons and Exeter Chiefs.

Ollie Lawrence has signed a long-term deal at Bath Rugby. Backrower Fergus Lee-Warner has also committed to the club for the remainder of the 2022/23 season. Bath confirm talks with loosehead prop Valeriy Morozov and flanker Ted Hill are ongoing.

Curtis Rona has left London Irish with immediate effect to pursue a playing opportunity in Japan. Ronna made 77 appearances and scored 16 tries for the Exiles since arriving ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

Bath missed out on signing Jean-Luc and Daniel du Preez. The brothers signed new deals with Sale until the end of the 2025/26 season. They arrived in Manchester from Durban-based Super Rugby side Cell C Sharks. Jean Luc played 83 times for the club and Dan 73 times.

Leinster confirm the signing of hooker Tadgh McElroy on a short-term contract. He has played for Saracens, Bristol Bears, Ealing Trailfinders and most recently London Irish.

Saracens have signed Tom Howe and Andrew Kitchener from Worcester Warriors on short-term deals. The pair will cover for the absent players. They will join Saracen's squad for upcoming Gallagher Premiership fixtures.

Saints sign Dan Biggar replacement. Fin Smith has signed a multi-year deal with immediate effect. Dan will leave the club at the end of the current campaign. Smith made 31 senior appearances for Worcester Warriors. He was selected for England Under-20s for the 2021 Six Nations in Cardiff.

Doncaster Knights have signed prop Kai Owen from Worcester Warriors for the 2022/23 season. Steve Boden believes Owen will fit into the Doncaster environment. He has worked with Owen before when he came on loan to Doncasters.
