Ronaldo makes Saudi transfer prediction

Al Nassr and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has a big prediction about the Saudi Pro League following the arrival of high-profile stars in the last few months.

Ronaldo surprisingly made the switch to the Saudi Pro League in January earlier this year, with the move getting a lot of criticism after leaving Manchester United.

However, a few more big names followed before the start of the 2023/2024 season, including Neymar, Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner claims more big-name players will make their move to Saudi Arabian shores in the near future.

'I'm happy because when I made the decision to come here nobody believe what I said,' the Portuguese told Saudi broadcaster SSC Sport.

'But that is the past. It doesn't matter anymore, the most important is that the league has grown and that players want to come because they know the league is competitive and the whole world is watching now.'

Ronaldo also finished the year as the top scorer in world football with 54 goals for club and country, beating out Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.

"I'm very happy, it was a good year for me as an individual and as a collective," Ronaldo added

"I scored so many goals, I helped the team a lot at Al-Nassr and for the national team. I feel good, I feel happy and next year I will try to do it again."
