Saudi Pro League 2023/24: Top Goalscorer Odds I BettingOdds.com

The Saudi League has been a prominent presence in the Summer Transfer Window after many of Europe’s top talents decided to make the switch to Saudi Arabia.

We’ve already analysed the odds to win the Saudi Pro League, now it's time to look at the Golden Boot contenders, featuring the likes of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar.

Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema opens up as the betting as the 6/4 favourite to be the Saudi Pro League top scorer.

Benzema has had a stunning scoring record in the latter stages of his career. In the 22/23 season, he scored 19 La Liga goals and the season before that he scored 27 La Liga goals in 32 games. This doesn’t even tell the whole story as he won the Ballon d’Or during this time and also claimed the top scorer in the 21/22 Champions League.

Benzema’s Al Ittihad look like a solid side in the Saudi Pro League with N'Golo Kante and Fabinho running the midfield with Jota on the wing.

With this team, they should be racking up a fair few goals and many would expect Benzema to be at the heart of that. 6/4 seems like a short price but with the standard of some of the Saudi League teams, Benzema could have a field day against many defences.

Cristiano Ronaldo: 9/4

Arguably the greatest goalscorer of all time is up next at 9/4.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the first mega-star to make the move over to Saudi and many have followed in the legends steps. Ronaldo scored 14 goals in 16 goals last year for Al-Nassr in the league and if he transfers that form over to this season, he should be right up there in this market.

Al Nassr have got a solid squad now with Sadio Mane, Alex Telles, Marcelo Brozovic, Seko Fofana, and Otavio all joining this season so expect them to be right up there in the league standings with Ronaldo leading the goal scoring front.

9/4 is on offer for him to be the top scorer and if he is anything like last season, that could be a great bet.

Neymar has made the switch from PSG to Saudi recently and whilst he is not currently match fit, he comes in as the third favourite in the top scorer market at 11/4.

Neymar has joined Al Hilal who have won three of the last four Saudi Pro League titles. He should be back in the coming weeks and expect him to start fast.

Although he is in his 30s now, his goalscoring record has not slowed down. Last season he scored 13 goals in 20 games for PSG and assisted on 11 occasions, so he is by no means finished.

Neymar is the type of player to make the most of the potentially questionable standards of defenders in the league by completely exposing them.

Firmino: 9/1

Firmino has made the switch from the Premier League to Saudi this window and will be playing for Al-Ahli. Firmino has already started off very quickly and scored a hat-trick on his first Saudi Pro League game.

He was previously available at a much bigger price but following three goals already to his name and the other big players in the market already firing a blank, he’s been backed into 9/1.

That could still be a great bet, he’s still a great player and was one of the most important players for Liverpool when they were winning the Premier League and the Champions League.

Firmino’s Al Ahli have signed quite a few players this summer and could be big players in the Saudi Pro League, with the likes of Edouard Mendy, Merih Demiral, Allan Saint-Maximin, Riyad Mahrez, Franck Kessi, and Roger Ibanez all in their squad. That’s a very solid outfit!

Next in the betting is Sadio Mane. The Senegalese star will be partnering Cristiano Ronaldo up top for Al-Nassr which probably explains why he is such a big price. It’s hard to compete with Ronaldo on the goalscoring front when you’re on the same team.

Mane has previously won the Golden Boot in the Premier League and he will most definitely be a big player for Al Nassr, but with Ronaldo on free-kicks and penalties, his goal-scoring options are limited.
