Ronaldo out to impress in Portugal's first game at World Cup National News

Cristiano Ronaldo is without a club after Manchester United canceled his contract. Ronaldo's team, Portugal, is playing at the World Cup in Qatar. Portugal starts the tournament against Ghana on Thursday. Ghana is the lowest-ranked team at this World cup and is a big underdog.  Ghana has previously come within a handball of playing in a World Championship semifinal. Brazil beat Argentina on Tuesday. Saudi Arabia beat Lionel Messi's Argentina. The team is also playing against Uruguay and South Korea. It is in Doha. Bruno Fernandes says the team's focus is on the game.

Ronaldo is expected to impress in Portugal's first game at World Cup. Ronaldo has had a turbulent week at club level.
