Roy Keane has just predicted who will win the Premier League after Arsenal beat Man City

After Arsenal beat Manchester City on Sunday, Roy Keane has delivered his prediction on who will win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners ended their terrible run of results against Pep Guardiola‘s side last weekend. Gabriel Martinelli‘s late goal gave us the win, and we’re now above Manchester City in the Premier League table.

Roy Keane predicts who will win the Premier League – Arsenal or Manchester City

Arsenal came ever so close to winning the Premier League title last season, but Manchester City pipped us in the end.

If we had won just one of the two games that we lost against them in the league last campaign, we would’ve been the champions, which makes it so frustrating.

There is a big change already this time around. Arsenal have beaten Manchester City in what should be viewed as a six-pointer, and we’re ahead of them in the table.

This, however, doesn’t mean anything as there are 30 games still left in the season, but many believe this is the turning point for the Gunners to go a step further than we did last term.

Roy Keane, however, is still adamant that Manchester City will win the Premier League this season ahead of Mikel Arteta‘s Arsenal.

He said on Stick to Football: “I wouldn’t be certainly writing Man City off. When you look at the two league games last year, obviously Man City were so far ahead, so yeah, definitely progress for Arsenal.

“But I wouldn’t change my mind in terms of who I think will win the league. I’ll stick with City.”

The Gunners have a great chance

Arsenal are much stronger this season than we were last time around, but the same cannot be said about Manchester City, can it?

Yes, they are still the best side in the world, but losing players like Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez definitely does weaken them.

That doesn’t make it easy for Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season, but we have a great chance – perhaps an even better one than we did last term.

It’s too early to say anything, but beating Manchester City, especially without Bukayo Saka, will definitely give Arsenal’s players huge confidence and belief going forward.
