Sam Tomkins admits 2013 heartbreak still haunts him as England eye World Cup glory

Sam Tomkins is looking forward to the home World Cup. He suffered heartbreak the last time England hosted here in 2013. Tomkin didn't even get picked four years ago. England are third favourites ahead of both Tonga and Samoa. The last home tournament in England was in France in 1972. Tomins is confident they can upset the odds and win the tournament. They are playing against Samoa in Newcastle on Saturday. It's been 60 years since Great Britain won the World cup. Sam Graham, James Graham and Sean O'Loughlin retired since the previous tournament five years. James Roby, Gareth Widdop and Jermaine McGillvary have also retired.
