Sam Wilkinson transitions to the headset for TU football

Wilkinson decided to stop playing football and become a position coach. He is currently the Discipleship Coordinator for Bergwall Hall. He also helps with the Lift program run at Upland Community Church. The team approved his appointment as the tight end coach for the upcoming season. It was the first time he was announced to the team as a new coach and he almost cried. Aaron Mingo is impressed by Wilkinson. "I am blown away by who he is and thankful that God's got him in our program," he said. Wilkinson is also the president of the Sport Management Club on campus. His involvement with community outreach is especially important.
