The team is averaging just 2.2 goals per game which ranks 31st and 3.91 goals allowed which is dead last in the NHL.

Rating:

Columbus is a sizeable favorite in this spot and although -210 is a chalky price to lay on the Blue Jackets, this still is a good spot to take them here. San Jose is brutal on the road this season as the Sharks can't score, while earlier this season, Columbus won 4-3 on the road. The Blue Jackets, despite losing three in a row, have gotten better goaltending, which should be the difference here.

Take Columbus to win at -210.

Prediction: Blue Jackets ML -210

Full-Game Total Pick

Rating:

The game earlier this season between these two teams did go for seven goals, but both teams traded away some goalscorers at the deadline. With that, the under 6.5 goals is the way to go in this matchup. Both offenses will struggle to score, while the Blue Jackets have been playing better defensively and in net. This seems like a 3-1, 3-2 type of game here. Finally, Columbus is 32-31-3 in hitting the under while San Jose is 33-29-3.

Take the under 6.5 goals at -110.

Prediction: Under 6.5 -110
