Santa Anita: Defunded earns Bob Baffert another Awesome Again Stakes victory

Bob Baffert's horse Defunded won the Awesome Again Stakes at Santa Anita on Saturday. It was the first Grade I win of Edwin Maldonado's career. The winner got all-expenses paid for the race. Baddert is superstitious and doesn't like to be told before a race, "See you in the winner's circle." He is second all time in Breeders’ Cup victories with 17. The Awesome again gave the winning horse an all expenses paid berth in a Breeder”s Cup Classic.
