Santa Anita Derby cancelled following order from Los Angeles health department. Saturday's Santa Anita derby card will be rescheduled. The track has been closed to the general public and essential personnel since March 12, 2020. There are no known cases of Covid-19 at Santa Monica Park. The Racing Post reported that racing stakeholders had warned of major job losses in California. Santa Ana Park is working with the county health authorities to familiarise them with protocols already in place. It is also working to protect the health and safety of the community who works with horses at the track.
