Phoenix Suns vs Indiana Pacers @ Gainbridge Fieldhouse

The Phoenix Suns are below their best but they still have time and three recent wins provide punters with some hope.

They got the better of the Celtics, Pistons and Nets over the last week, so they could be turning their form around and begin to make a run for the playoffs.

We were particularly impressed with their 106-94 win over the Celtics, which came on the road. Their last three wins have come on the road, which isn’t normal for the Suns. They are only 11-17 on the road, so that should give them confidence.

Having Devin Booker out of action isn’t ideal, but they’re playing an Indiana Pacers outfit struggling with confidence after posting four losses from their last five games.

The only win came against the Kings 107-104, which was followed by losses to the Cavaliers and Heat. Scoring under 112 points isn’t going to win many games in modern NBA, so the Suns offence only needs to be solid to get the win.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs New Orleans Pelicans @ Smoothie King Centre

The Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, but they need to show more consistency on the road.

They are 12-16 away from home, but recent signs are good. They scored road wins over Indiana and Washington before returning home and beating the Pistons 113-85.

However, it was their win over the Memphis Grizzlies last week that stands out above the rest. They scored 128 points in the comfortable victory, which could send fear into the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Pelicans enter Saturday’s game riding a three-game winning streak, including wins over the Lakers, Kings, and Hawks. They scored 131 points against the Lakers and 136 points against the Kings, so they’re firing on offence.

Beating the Pelicans at home have proven difficult for most teams. They are 20-9 at home but having Zion Williamson out again could hold them back. He’s an integral part of their success, so we’re taking the Cavaliers to enter enemy territory and get the win.

Dallas Mavericks vs Sacramento Kings @ Golden 1 Centre

The Sacramento Kings has a better record than the Dallas Mavericks, but we think Dallas is the better team.

However, the status of Luka Doncic is up in the air and that could be problematic for a team who relies on Doncic to score. He’s averaging 33.4 points per game, so if he doesn’t suit up, they’ll have a huge gap to fill.

Luckily, they signed Kyrie Irving and he’s good enough to carry the team on his back, so bookmakers could underrate their chances of beating the Kings.

Sacramento come off consecutive wins against the Houston Rockets, but the most recent win came 130-128, which is too close for comfort.

We think the value is with the Mavericks, so lock in the odds.
