Saturday ITV Racing Tips: Best bets for Cheltenham and Lingfield

The ITV cameras are back at Cheltenham and Lingfield for day two of the November meeting. Planet Sport's tipsters have a selection for each of six live races on offer. The feature race is the Grade 2 Paddy Power Gold Cup (1420).

Joseph O'Brien's Irish challenge won the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle in the spring and was impressive on his chasing debut at Gowran Park at the start of October. Monmiral and Tommy's Oscar have been off the track since April and Monmiral won't be able to race. Tommy’s Oscar blew out in his only previous visit to Cheltenham.

Stolen Silver can provide trainer Sam Thomas with a third big race victory in as many weeks in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham. Our Power and Before Midnight finished first and third in London Gold Cups at Ascot and Carlisle. Al Dancer won Grand National fences in Grand Sefton at Aintree last weekend. Stolen silver has to contend with 7lb hike in weights on his reappearance.

Summerghand has been in great form this season. Judicial won the Bengough Stakes at Ascot in 2019. Harry's Bar is a course and distance winner.

Shearer is the safest option for Cheltenham. Annual Invictus, Sidi Ismael and Zoffanien are also interesting. On The Blind Side is a C&D winner.

Bolshoi Ballet is back in action on the all-weather track at Lingfield. He has been off the track since contesting the Hong Kong Cup at Sha Tin last December. Aidan O'Brien will be hoping for a big run from Bolshoa Ballets.

Unanswered is the favourite at Cheltenham. Wiseguy is an intriguing rival on his first start in a handicap. Elle Perfecta is another to note.
