Schedule not easy as CU Buffs try to get on right track

Colorado Buffaloes lost their first two games of the season. They lost to Idaho State, Nicholls State and Texas State. The team is playing a tough schedule. It's the first time since 1974 that they lost by at least 25 points in each of their opening two matches. On Saturday, they play Minnesota, who beat them 30-0 in Boulder last year. The coach Karl Dorrell is 4-12 in his last 16 games. He's trying to get his team to improve. Colorado is at the bottom of its conference. For the team, it's deflating. But, as the guard says, the players have been through worse.

The defense played well for the first two-and-a-half quarters of the game. The team gave up 41 points and 435 rushing yards. Sami had four tackles. The game ended in the last 18 minutes. He is pleased with the effort but disappointed with not getting the job done.

The Colorado Buffs are 27.5 points underdogs for Saturday's game at Minnesota. It's the first time they've been that big of an underdog since the 2019 season finale at Utah (28.0 points).
