Scotland v Ukraine TV channel and start time for World Cup play-off

Scotland take on Ukraine in a World Cup qualifying play-off semi-final in Glasgow on Wednesday. The winner will play Wales in the play off final in Cardiff on June 5. Whoever wins will earn a place at the World cup in Qatar later this year. Ukraine have only qualified for the tournament once since breaking away from the Soviet Union.

Scotland v Ukraine is a World Cup play-off at Hampden Park on Wednesday, June 1 at 7.45 pm.

Sky Sports hold the rights to World Cup qualifiers and will broadcast the match on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sport Football at 7pm. Sky customers can live stream the action via the Sky Go app, their website and Now TV.

Scotland will be without Kieran Tierney for Wednesday's World Cup play-off semi-final against Ukraine. Everton's Nathan Patterson has been called up. Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour has also made the squad. Ukraine will not have Shaktar Donetsk defender Serhiy Kryvtsov.

Scotland are two games away from going to the World Cup in Qatar. Steve Clarke's team is motivated to qualify for the tournament.

Danny Makkelie will be the Scotland v Ukraine referee at Hampden Park. He will take charge of proceedings with Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries. Serdar Gözübüyük will serve as the fourth official. Pol van Boekel is the video assistant referee.

Scotland play Ukraine in a World Cup play-off. The semi-final is a single-leg contest. If the match is level after 90 minutes, extra-time will be played and a penalty shootout will take place.
