Scottish Premiership final finish: Hearts, Hibs & rivals ranked

The current Premiership champions could be in for a close battle if they hope to lift the trophy for a 54th time

Hibs now sit fourth and fifth respectively in the Scottish Premiership. It was arguably not an outing of thrills for Hearts as they beat St Johnstone 1-0 but Steven Naismith's side secured the all important three points and they are now just two points behind St Mirren in the league.

Meanwhile, Nick Montgomery's squad battled through to take away a vital three points against Dundee. Hibs won 2-1, surviving a red card in the 63rd minute, to bring home the victory and jump up the league. It will undoubtedly be a hard battle for both Edinburgh clubs to finish in the top six ahead of Phase Two of the league but the odds are well in their favour.

According to the latest statistics, here is where the Easter Road and Tynecastle side are set to finish and how many points they could have accumulated when May 2024 comes around...

1. Celtic with the Scottish Premiership trophy

Celtic are tipped to endure a tight battle if they are to lift trophy once again.

2. 12. Livingston

It's not looking positive for Livinston who are predicted to finish on 20 points and suffer relegation.

3. 11. Ross County

The Dingwall side are set to avoid relegation by seven points as they are predicted to finish in 11th place with 27 points.

4. 10. St Johnstone

The McDiarmid Park side have a predicted finish off 10th with 43 points.
