Seahawks vs. Ravens NFL Player Props, Odds

As the Baltimore Ravens play host to the Seattle Seahawks, we provide our top Seahawks vs. Ravens NFL player prop predictions for Week 9, utilizing the best NFL odds available.

The Seattle Seahawks notched a thrilling 24-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 8. Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf each recorded over 65 yards, and rookie wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games.

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards delivered a standout performance in Week 8, scoring three touchdowns and bringing his total to four in the past two weeks. Edwards' impressive showing allowed Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson to rely less on the passing game, resulting in Jackson accumulating just 157 passing yards and one touchdown due to Edwards' rushing success.

Seahawks vs. Ravens NFL player props: Week 9

Geno Smith Over 0.5 interceptions (-113 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

Seattle quarterback Geno Smith is a far cry from the quarterback he was a season ago. Since Week 3, he has thrown as many touchdowns as he has interceptions. Over the past three weeks, he has just four touchdowns and five interceptions, and he has thrown multiple picks in two games.

The Ravens are averaging one interception per matchup this season. That is tied for the seventh-best mark in the NFL. The Ravens’ offense has been fantastic over the past three weeks, and we expect them to have a lead for most of this game. That means Smith will have to throw the ball a lot in this game. To get this for lower than -120 feels too good to be true.

Lamar Jackson Over 42.5 rushing yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

When the Ravens blow teams out, Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson barely runs the ball. Over the past two weeks, he has just 14 carries for 53 yards. While last week’s final score gives the illusion that the Arizona Cardinals played the Ravens tough, the Ravens led by 16 with 1:14 remaining.

Meanwhile, in games decided by eight points or less, Jackson has rushed for at least 45 yards whether the Ravens win or lose. While there is always the chance that the Ravens blow the Seahawks out on Sunday, we think this will be a fairly close game.

Additionally, the Seahawks are second in the NFL in sacks per game, averaging 3.7 per. While those numbers are inflated because of 11 sacks against the New York Giants, they still have 15 in their other six games. With pressure on him, Jackson will use his legs to clear this low number.

Justin Madubuike Over 0.25 sacks (+100 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Baltimore defensive end Justin Madubuike has been incredible over the past five weeks. During that span, he has at least a half-sack in every game, as he has racked up 5.5 of his 6.5 on the season. This week, he has a tough matchup against a Seahawks’ offensive line that is tied for sixth in the league in sacks allowed per game. But even ranked as high as they are, they’re still allowing 2.0 sacks per game.

The Ravens lead the NFL in sacks per game. We can’t imagine Smith ending this game without being sacked at least twice. Based on how Madubuike has been playing over the past few weeks, we expect him to record at least half of a sack for the sixth game in a row.

Only DraftKings and bet365 have this prop listed at the time of writing. DraftKings offers a better price, so they’re the obvious place to wager.
