Bleecker Street won the New York Stakes at Belmont Park on Friday. Irad Ortiz Jr. piloted the 4-year-old daughter of Quality Road to a half-length victory. Family Way finished second, while Rougir finished fifth. Flighty Lady came third, and Virginia Joy fourth. Bleecker street has won all seven of her starts for earnings of $834,700. She was bought for $400,000 at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select sale. Rourir was the favorite. The horse was co-owned by Michael Tabor.
