Seven-try Pumas thrash Wallabies to top Rugby Championship
Argentina beat Australia 48-17 in Rugby Championship. Juan Imhoff, Jeronimo De La Fuente, Juan Martin Gonzalez, Emiliano Boffelli, Tomas Albornoz and Thomas Gallo scored tries for the Pumas. Agustin Creevy came off the bench to equal Nicolas Sanchez's record of 94 Pums caps. Last week, Australia beat Argentina in Mendoza. This time Argentina won in San Juan. It was their first win in the competition since 2020. They are now top of the table. Australia won last week. They had a try ruled out for an illegal clear-out by captain James Slipper.
