Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team

Georgia leads all schools with three first-team selections. USC had four total selections, with Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams leading two first team selections and Notre Dame, Ohio State and Alabama had three players selected across the two teams.

Caleb Williams led the FBS with 47 total TDs and averaged 342.1 yards per game of total offense this season. He had seven games with at least 300 yards passing and seven with four or more touchdowns.

Blake Corum is the first Michigan running back to earn SN All-American honors since Chris Perry (2003). He is also the only player from Michigan to make the 2022 Sporting News College Football All -America Team.

Bijan Robinson was outstanding for Texas this season. He finished with 1,580 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. Robinson also had 314 receiving yards.

Marvin Harrison Jr. made 72 catches for 1,152 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. He had six 100-yard games and a pair of three-TD games against Arkansas State and Michigan State. Harrison has one more year at Ohio State, and he will be on the Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team.

Jalin Hyatt won the Biletnikoff Award for his performance against Alabama. He had 67 catches for 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns this season.

Michael Mayer was a second-team SN All-American last season. He had 67 catches for 809 yards and nine touchdowns this season, including 28 catches against ranked teams.

Peter Skoronski is the top pass blocker in the country according to Pro Football Focus. He allowed just one sack and two quarterback hits all season for Northwestern.

Cooper Beebe was named Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year. He played guard for Kansas State after playing tackle the last two seasons.

Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team: Olusegun Oluwatimi, Michigan. OLUwatimi is the Outland Trophy and Rimington Trophy winner. He was a top-five pass blocker according to PFF and didn't allow a sack this season.

O'Cyrus Torrence is on the Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team. Torrance played at an All American level at Louisiana before transferring to Florida.

Alex Palczewski has made 63 starts for the Illinois. He had his best season in 2022 in a run-oriented offense with Bret Bielema.

Deuce Vaughn was Kansas State's top player with 1,803 yards, 1.425 rush, 378 receiving and 11 touchdowns. He closed the season with a 160-yard, two-TD performance against TCU in the Big 12 championship game.

Tuli Tuipulotu was named to the Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team. Tui had a breakout season under first-year defensive coordinator Alex Grinch.

Jalen Carter is named to Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team. He replaces Jordan Davis, who made the team last season.

Calijah Kancey is the next product off the Pitt defensive line pipeline. Kances had 7.5 sacks and 14.0 tackles for loss this season.

Will Anderson is a two-time SN first-team All-American. He had 10 sacks and 17 tackles for loss last season. Anderson also had a pick six.

Jack Campbell is the Butkus award winner and a consensus All-American candidate. He compiled 115 total tackles, 3.5 sacks and two interceptions last season.

Jamon Dumas-Johnson is the second straight first-team linebacker from Georgia. He tied for the team lead with 64 tackles.

Ivan Pace is named to the Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team. He had 119 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks.

Tre'vius Hodges-Tomlinson helped lead TCU to the College Football Playoff for the first time. Hodge-Tolinson had three interceptions and 11 pass breakups.

Clark Phillips is a cornerback for Utah. He had six interceptions, which tied for second in the FBS. Phillips was a key part in Utah's second straight Pac-12 championship.

Kamren Kinchens is the first Miami All-American safety since Sean Taylor in 2003. KInchens allowed just 12 receptions all season and tied for second in the nation with six interceptions. He also led Miami with 59 tackles.

Christopher Smith is the third Georgia defensive player on Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team. He finished with 50 tackles and five tackles for loss.

Joshua Karty is named to the Sporting News 2022 College Football All-America Team. Kartry didn't miss a field-goal attempt this season for Stanford.

Adam Korsak is an Australian punter who played for Rutgers. He averaged 44.0 yards per punt on 75 punts, but only 11% of those punting were returned.

Anthony Gould was a key player on Oregon State's special teams. He had two touchdowns against Montana State and Cal and one kickoff return for 22 yards.

Christopher Dunn, Bryce Baringer, Lideatrick Griffin and Bryce Curnow make up the second-team specialists.
