Sportsbooks Take Bets On Table Tennis Despite “Widespread” Match Fixing

Some of Britain's biggest online sportsbooks are offering odds on Ukrainian table tennis tournaments despite confirmed reports of match-fixing. Table Tennis Federation of Ukraine announced it was forming a partnership with the Sport Integrity Team to prevent the problem. The association claims the support of the sportsbook has proved its brand value. The Setka Cup has over 7,500 of its matches available in 100 sports books. It has strict requirements to risk management and wouldn't collaborate with non-trust tournaments. Francesco Baranca, a consultant with Sport integrity Team, believes the level of corruption will decrease by 90% in six months.
