'Stanley Cup Central' to debut on YouTube

2nd-screen experience will offer conversational style, analysis of 2023 playoffs

NEW YORK -- Stanley Cup Central™, a new second-screen experience that brings a conversational style and analysis of the 2023 Stanley Cup to fans live on the NHL's YouTube Channel, debuts tonight as the Florida Panthers face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7 p.m. ET during the first Second Round game of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Produced by NHL Productions, the interactive show will cover one Playoff game each night, Monday through Thursday, every week leading up to the 2023 Stanley Cup Final.

Stanley Cup Central will offer a unique viewing experience with fan-favorite NHL Blockie visualizations and interactive game elements, developed with NHL EDGE (puck and player tracking) data and Beyond Sports technology. Each show will also feature betting odds and breakdowns of the betting lines as the game progresses.

A rotating cast of hosts including Lauren Jbara, Alexa Landestoy, Jonny Lazarus and NHL Fantasy reporter Anna Dua will lend their insights and banter to one Playoff game per night, as well as pre- and post-game coverage. Longtime NHL insider Pierre McGuire will join each night to offer analysis and commentary.

Stanley Cup Central is executive produced by NHL Chief Content Officer and Senior Executive Vice President Steve Mayer, produced by Ray Jacobs and directed by Matt Celli.
