Golden Knights vs. Panthers Game 5 odds, Stanley Cup picks, and NHL player props

The Vegas Golden Knights managed to split the two games in Florida and only need one more win to end it all. Here are the current odds for Game 5 on Tuesday.

Tensions flared at the end of Game 4 as a brawl broke out and the Vegas Golden Knights took a 3-1 series lead. Expect more of that physical play to carry over into Game 5 as Matthew Tkachuk — if he's healthy enough to play — and the Panthers fight to keep championship hopes alive.

Here are the game details and TV information for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals:

  • Date: Tuesday, June 13
  • Time: 8 p.m. ET
  • Where: T-Mobile Arena (Las Vegas)
  • Broadcast: TNT, Tru TV
  • Stream: TNT app, Sling TV
  • NHL odds today: Panthers (+1.5, +158), Golden Knights (-1.5, -189)

Let's review our top Stanley Cup picks.

Golden Knights vs. Panthers Game 5 picks: Vegas Golden Knights ML (-189 or better)

While it’s not a great return, the Vegas Golden Knights may be the smart bet in Game 5. Not only do they have the series momentum, they are also healthy.

Several of the Panthers' key players, including star winger Matthew Tkachuk, have missed practice and are banged up.

Additionally, the Golden Knights are returning to home ice for Game 5. Everything is set up perfectly for them to continue their strong play and wrap the series up.

And, if so, the party begins in Las Vegas.

At -189 or better (as of Tuesday morning on Caesars), it’s not the best return. However, it’s still a worthy bet as the Golden Knights look set to take care of the Panthers on home ice.

NHL props today: Chandler Stephenson and Anton Lundell props for Game 5

Stanley Cup player props: Chandler Stephenson 2+ shots on goal (-146 or better)

Chandler Stephenson was the star of Game 4 as he scored twice to power the Golden Knights to victory. Heading into Game 5, a smart bet is for him to record at least two shots on net.

Reason why? Stephenson has had at least three shots in each of his last three games in this series, including hitting the four shot mark twice. Two or more shots should not be an issue for the smooth skater in Game 5.

This is a safer wager for Game 5 as Stephenson has consistently been hitting this number throughout the series, recording multiple shots in three out of the four Stanley Cup Finals games.

NHL props today: Anton Lundell 3+ shots on goal (+195 or better)

This is another mispriced line that sports bettors can take advantage of. Lundell has recorded at least three shots in three of the four games through this series.

Despite that, you can get almost a 3-to-1 return on your money for making this wager for Game 5.

When you add in the fact that several Florida Panthers players, including offensive producers like Tkachuk, are going to be hurt for this game, more of the burden to create offense will fall on Lundell.
