Steyn City Championship Tips
Steyn City Championship takes place this week. The course is similar to Pecanwood. There were no significant events at Steyn city last week, except for a pairs event held here in 2018. Hennie du Plessis and Jean Hugo won the event at PECan wood. Weather forecast is cool and wet for the start of the tournament, but it will warm up to the low 70s. The forecast predicts calm, sunny conditions with a little rain late on Saturday.
Steyn City Championship is taking place at a Jack Nicklaus design. The team event held here in 2018 finished with a 23-under total. Last week's tournament finished at 22- under. Rain is forecast for Wednesday and Thursday. The course should be receptive and scoreable. Birdies will be the order of the day from Friday onwards.
