'Strength in numbers': Kansas football wide receivers stepping up early in 2022

Andy Kotelnicki is the offensive coordinator for Kansas football's 2022 season. He predicted that the wide receiver room will surprise people. Last season, the room was heavily biased towards Kwamie Lassiter II, who is now in the NFL on the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad. This season it's more balanced with five wide receivers with multiple catches. Quentin Skinner is a deep play threat in his first season as a contributor. The offense has spread the ball around more this season with Trevor Wilson being suspended indefinitely and Tanaka Scott missing the first game due to a suspension. The team has also scored more points.
