The Hubert Bartley Memorial Trophy was held on Sunday. It was presented to US-bred Eroy, who returned to Overnight Allowance and won by 12 lengths. Denbigh Life and Out On A Limb qualified for O overnight allowance competition. Miss Linda Wray won the opening event. Samantha Fletcher rode to a three-and-a-half-length win. Blue Seas placed 1-2. Omar Simpson won his first race of the season. Subbie won at 13-1. The winner was Subbies. The runner-up was Blue seas.
