Sunil Gavaskar feels some former overseas players want Indian players to increase their sponsorships for T20 leagues. Adam Gilchrist questioned BCCI's decision not to allow Indian cricket players playing in overseas T-20 tournaments.

Some former players want Indian players in their T20 leagues to have more sponsorships. Indian Premier League has many Australian players and support staff dominating the league. Some IPL franchises bought teams in upcoming T 20 leagues in South Africa and UAE.

Some overseas former players want Indian players to play in the Big Bash or the Hundred. Indian cricket wants to protect its players and restrict them from playing overseas.

Sunil Gavaskar feels some former foreign players want Indian players to increase sponsorship of their T20 leagues. He also believes that the IPL once ran the risk of being called the Australian league because of the dominance of Aussie players.
