Suns vs. Lakers NBA Player Props, Odds: Picks and Predictions for NBA In-Season Tournament

The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers face off Tuesday night in the NBA In-Season Tournament quarterfinals, and we have you covered with our best Suns vs. Lakers NBA player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Phoenix Suns (12-8) and Los Angeles Lakers (12-9) have their sights set on a deep postseason run in this year's NBA playoffs. They'll get an early taste of that atmosphere on Tuesday in the NBA In-Season Tournament quarterfinals, with the winner advancing to the semifinal round of the knockout stage.

The Suns looked like one of the NBA's best teams amid a seven-game win streak in November, but they've since dropped two of three games ahead of Tuesday's tilt. The Lakers have dropped three of their last six but look dominant when their stars are firing on all cylinders.

To accompany our Knicks vs. Bucks player props and our 2023 NBA Cup Odds, here are our best Suns vs. Lakers NBA player props and NBA picks (odds via ourbest NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Suns vs. Lakers NBA player props

Kevin Durant Over 28.5 points (-115 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Only two players in the NBA are averaging more points per game than Durant (31.0), who has scored 30-plus points in 11 of 18 starts this season. So why is his scoring prop dealing so low on Tuesday?

This isn't the easiest matchup against an impressive L.A. defense, but Durant torched the Lakers for 39 points (Oct. 26) and 38 points (Nov. 10) in two previous meetings this season. He's also scored at least 30 points in seven of his last eight games entering Tuesday.

Considering that the Over is trading as high as -142 at Caesars, we'll gladly pay the -115 price at BetMGM for a mark that Durant has hit with regularity this season.

Anthony Davis Over 2.5 blocks (+140 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a bit of a curious price for Davis, who is tied for the league lead in blocks per game (2.8) and, like Durant, has hit this mark with regularity in the early part of the season. Except this one comes with a plus-money price.

The Lakers' star big man is coming off a five-block performance in Saturday's win over the Houston Rockets — his third game with three-plus blocks in his last five contests and his 12th game in 20 starts this season.

Given the Suns ' lack of floor spacers in their frontcourt, he should have free rein to patrol the paint on Tuesday. Davis swatted three shots in these teams' first meeting in October, and he's an easy bet to swat three more at such a generous price.

Jusuf Nurkic Under 9.5 rebounds (+112 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's a little more risk with this bet on paper, as Nurkic has cleared this mark in five of his last eight games. At this price, though, it's a no-brainer.

While his effort on the glass has picked up over the last two weeks, the Suns center has still grabbed double-digit rebounds just eight times in 20 games this season, and he finished with exactly nine rebounds in both contests against the Lakers.

That'll be even tougher to do Tuesday with the return of Jarred Vanderbilt, who finished with four rebounds in just 14 minutes in his season debut on Saturday. Davis has also been a beast on the boards, averaging 13.9 rebounds over his last seven starts, while Rui Hachimura (3.8 RPG) is also expected to return from a five-game hiatus.

There's a reason why bet365 is offering Under 9.5 at -125. And while that may be an outlier, so is this +112 price at Caesars.
