Suns vs. Lakers same-game parlay predictions Dec. 5: Bet on Durant to lead Phoenix to in-season tournament semifinal

The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers battle on Tuesday night for a spot in the in-season tournament semifinal.

The pregame narrative: L.A. beat Phoenix twice this season but Devin Booker didn't play in either of those games. While his presence is paramount, Kevin Durant is the centrepiece of this same-game parlay. Anthony Davis is also worth fading on an alternate rebound total.

NBA oddsas of 2:17 p.m. on 12/04/2023.

Suns vs. Lakers same-game parlay

Parlay: Suns moneyline + Durant over 27.5 points + Davis under 13.5 rebounds (+295)

Suns moneyline (+107): Phoenix does pretty well when Booker and Durant are both on the court. The duo are 14-2 in the regular season together and went 6-5 in the postseason last year.

All in all, that's an impressive .741 win percentage in a 27-game sample size.

Betting against the Lakers at home can be daunting. The team is 8-2 at Crypto.com Arena with the 10th-best home net rating (+7.1). But Phoenix is just as good on the road, with a 7-3 record and the fifth-best road net rating (+2.4).

Other parlay picks

Durant over 27.5 points (-159): LeBron James has earned plenty of praise for his otherworldly production this season at 38 years old, but NBA fans should keep that same energy for Durant.

The 35-year-old is averaging 31.0 points per game this season (third-most in the NBA) on 51.2/49.4/89.6 shooting spits.

He's going over this mark in 13 of 18 starts this season including eight of the past nine. And he absolutely torched the Lakers in their two meetings earlier this season (39 and 38 points).

Granted, Booker wasn't playing in those games, but Durant has gone over this number in seven of nine games with Booker this year.

Davis under 13.5 rebounds (-195): Davis has collected the second-most rebounds per game (12.5) this season, so fading him on the glass is always a scary proposition.

But he's fallen under this teased-up total in 13 of 20 starts — including both games against the Suns.

That makes sense considering Phoenix owns the sixth-best rebounding rate (51.7) in the NBA while allowing the fifth-fewest rebounds per game to opposing centres, per Fantasy Pros.
