Super Bowl odds 2025: Chiefs, 49ers, Bengals, Packers and more
The Kansas City Chiefs are back-to-back world champions after a 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58 on Sunday night at Allegiant Stadium.
Kansas City becomes the first organization since the 2003-04 New England Patriots to win consecutive Lombardi trophies.
With the NFL season now over, it's never too early to bet on next year's winner, as the odds for the Super Bowl 59 have already been released.
Here are the odds for all 32 teams from DraftKings Sportsbook, plus my three best bets to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 59 a year from now in New Orleans.
2025 Super Bowl odds: 49ers, Chiefs remain the favorites for rematch in Super Bowl 59
The favorites: 49ers (+550), Chiefs (+650), Ravens (+900), Bills (+950), Lions and Bengals (+1200)
Second tier: Dolphins (+1700), Eagles, Packers and Cowboys (+2000), Texans (+2200), Jets and Chargers (+2500),
Middle of the pack: Jaguars, Bears and Falcons (+3000), Rams and Browns (+3500), Colts (+4500), Vikings (+5500), Seahawks (+6000) and Buccaneers (+6500)
Longshots: Steelers (+7500), Cardinals and Saints (+8000), Commanders, Giants, Patriots, Raiders and Broncos (+10000), Titans (+15000) and Panthers (+25000)
1. Kansas City Chiefs(+750)
Unsurprisingly, the Chiefs have the second-shortest odds following their third Super Bowl victory in five seasons.
If there's any time to bet on Kansas City, it's right now.
The team has been to at least the AFC Championship game in all six seasons of the Patrick Mahomes era.
The odds for the Chiefs will likely only get shorter for next season from here on out as the summer months wind down and we get closer to kickoff in early September.
I've made my fair share of mistakes betting against Mahomes and company during these playoffs and I won't do it here, even after the Super Bowl loss, especially at nearly 8-1 (+800) odds for Super Bowl 59.
2. Cincinnati Bengals (+1200)
The only team to take down the Chiefs in the postseason during this historic run in the AFC has been the Joe Burrow-led Bengals.
It was not long ago that Cincinnati went into Kansas City and defeated the Chiefs in the 2022 AFC title game, earning its first Super Bowl appearance in over 30 years.
However, 2023 was a year of what could've been as Burrow suffered a wrist injury in mid-November, forcing him to miss the rest of the season.
While backup QB Jake Browning played admirably as his replacement (4-3 over the final seven games), the Bengals were on the outside looking in for the seventh and final playoff spot as they finished with a 9-8 record.
With a healthy Burrow back in action, the Bengals have proven they are one of the clear threats to dethroning the Chiefs.
Plus, you have to believe that Burrow and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who were teammates at LSU, have some extra motivation to get to next year's Super Bowl that will be at the same stadium where they dominated the College Football National Championship in 2020 against Clemson.
Currently at 12-1 odds, Cincinnati's worth a wager as I expect there's a bounce-back season underway for the organization next year.
3. Green Bay Packers (+2000)
The Packers are my sleeper pick I'm riding with to represent the NFC in Super Bowl 59.
Green Bay was a few plays away from appearing in this year's NFC Championship game with QB Jordan Love in his first full season as starter.
Despite an underwhelming 3-6 start, Love led the Packers to six wins in their final eight games of the regular season and earned the final wild-card spot, all what seemed impossible through the halfway point of the season.
The Packers would then go on to dominate the Dallas Cowboys, 48-32, in the Wild Card round before suffering the 24-21 defeat at the hands of the 49ers in the Divisional Round.
Do the Packers need to improve on both sides of the ball to continue to be one of the top contenders in the NFC? Absolutely.
Even with those question marks, Green Bay seemingly has its answer at QB with one of the best young signal callers in the NFL in arguably what could be one of the top-heavy divisions in the NFL next season.
While the Lions' will likely be the betting darlings again this offseason, I'd place a small wager on the Packers to appear in their first Super Bowl in 14 years.
