Super Bowl 2025 betting odds: 49ers open as favorites

The 2025 Super Bowl will be in New Orleans, and the early odds for next year’s “Big Game” are here.

The San Francisco 49ers open as the early favorite despite falling short to the Kansas City Chiefs in this year’s Super Bowl, but the Chiefs are right there with them, as both teams are expected to be strong again next season.

The 49ers are +500 to win Super Bowl 59 at most major sportsbooks but can be had at +575 at Caesars, and the Chiefs are +650 at most books but are +750 at BetMGM.

The Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals are all near the top of the odds chart in the AFC, with the best value on the Ravens being at +900, the Bills at +1200 and the Bengals at +1500.

As for the NFC, the Detroit Lions appear to be the biggest threat to the 49ers with second-best odds to win the NFC at +1300, with the Dallas Cowboys (+2000), Philadelphia Eagles (+2200) and Green Bay Packers (+2500) also in the conversation.

Teams that are expected to be improved in the AFC include the Los Angeles Chargers with new head coach Jim Harbaugh and the New York Jets with Aaron Rodgers returning, as their best price to win the Super Bowl appears steep at +3000.

The NFC sees the Chicago Bears (+4000) with much better odds than they had entering last season since they’re expected to improve their roster significantly, and the Atlanta Falcons have the best odds among NFC South teams (+5000).

The New Orleans Saints aren’t getting much love from the oddsmakers early on, as they can be had at +8000 at most books despite hiring a new offensive coordinator in Klint Kubiak.

There aren’t many teams with odds longer than 100-to-1, but the New York Giants, Tennessee Titans and Washington Commanders can all be had at +15000, with the New England Patriots (+20000) and the Carolina Panthers (+25000) bringing up the rear.

Super Bowl 59 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA.
