T20 Men’s World Cup: previous winners and 2022 odds

West Indies won their group. England are hoping to win both ODI and T20 World Cups by the end of the year. Scotland will hope to reach the Super12 group once more. The top two sides from each of two groups will progress to the next stage.

Australia won the T20 World Cup in 2021 after beating New Zealand in the final. Mitchell Marsh was the player of the match. Australia won four out of five matches in their group stage and finished second in Super12 group 1.

West Indies won the T20 World Cup in 2012 and 2016. Sri Lanka won it in the previous edition in 2011. Marlon Samuels was the player of the match in both 2012 finals.

England have won the T20 World Cup once. They beat Australia in the final in 2010. Kevin Pietersen was the Player of the Tournament.
