The Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup begins on Saturday. The eight teams who automatically qualified were Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa. They are split into two groups of six and play five round-robin matches. Top two from each group progress to the semi-finals and the champion will be crowned on November 13 at the MCG. West Indies are the most successful team in the history of this tournament, having triumphed twice in three editions in 2012 and 2016.

There are 12 teams in the Super 12 tournament. Afghanistan, Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Netherlands are in Group 1.
