Table tennis got the lion's share of Colorado's first $25 million in sports betting wagers. Darts accounted for more than $130,000 in wagering. The first month of sports gambling generated $96,537.55. It's a drop in the bucket of the outstanding amount owed to the legislature. The Division of Gaming hasn't updated its sports bettors' revenue projections. There will be a return of professional sports as early as this month. Colorado lawmakers voted to legalize sports bets in November. They hoped it would generate millions of dollars for the state’s multibillion-dollar water plan.
