TAMMY ABRAHAM is being lined up for a £40million return to the Premier League.

And one of his former clubs is ready to rival Manchester United for his signature.

Abraham, 25, has been plying his trade in Italy with Roma for the past 18 months.

The England ace has 34 goals in 86 games for Jose Mourinho’s side.

And he has been linked with a move to United this summer.

But Forza Roma claims Abraham could be returning home to a different English side after being scouted by Aston Villa.

Unai Emery is said to be a big fan.

And Villa are on the hunt for a powerful No9 after selling Danny Ings to West Ham in January.

Abraham is already a firm favourite with Villa fans, having played for them on loan in the 2018/19 campaign.

He struck 25 goals in 37 Championship games as Villa secured promotion to the top flight.

And a second Midlands spell could now be on the cards.

Former Chelsea youngster Abraham may be keen on returning to England after two years abroad.

His first season in Italy yielded an impressive 27 goals in all competitions.

But Abraham has struggled for form this term with just seven goals in 33 games.

Boss Mourinho is now being tipped to quit Roma should they miss out on a top four finish.

And his exit could also signal the end of Abraham’s Serie A adventure.
