Tampa Bay wrapup: Zydeceaux (9-1) is upset winner in Pasco

Zydeceaux (9-1) won the Pasco Stakes for 3-year-old males at Tampa Bay Downs. It was his third victory in five starts. Champions Dream (3-2) came close to catching Zydecaux. Shaq Diesel finished third. The horse paid $21.40 to win. The connections would consider running Zy deceaux in the Sam F. Davis Stake (G3) at the Tampa bay Downs on February 11th.

Samuel Marin and Zydecaux won the Pasco Stakes on the dirt for $125K at Tampa Bay Downs. The Wayward Lass Stake is next in Race 7.

Opus Forty Two won the seven-furlong Gasparilla Stakes for 3-year-old fillies. It was her second career win on the dirt track. She was trained by Arnaud Delacour. The winner is owned by Mark B. Grier. Opus 40 Two will be returned to the Suncoast Stake on February 11. She completed the distance in 1:24.91. Personal Pursuit finished third.
