Ted Lasso helped me crush the competition in FIFA 23

FIFA 23 is the latest soccer game from EA. It includes the addition of women's pro leagues from France and England and the return of Italian giants Juventus. For me, the main attraction of the game is being able to play as Ted Lasso from the Apple TV Plus series of same name. It's been a delightfully strange experience. He had to put the fictional team AFC Richmond in Major League Soccer.

Ted Lasso is a manager in FIFA 23. He won a preseason tournament in China and got a $1 million bonus. His team, AFC Richmond, was playing in MLS. The team was unstoppable. He was asked a lot of questions in the post-match press conference. It was like watching Juancho Hernangómez play in NBA after seeing him in Hustle. FIFA is accurate in recreating actors' looks. They look like they do on the show. There are some similarities between the game and the TV series. For example, the facial expressions of actors like Jason Sudeikis and Gareth Bale are accurate.

Ted Lasso is a nice character in FIFA 23 but he's not very interesting. He's disappointed with the lack of personality in the game. He would like to see some voice acting and some unique dialogue. FIFA is nice but not great. It's a skin for the standard mode.
